John Reavey
About Me
John Reavey is an LGBTQ+ filmmaker from rural Ireland working across sport, culture, and digital storytelling. A former director for the English Premier League’s branded content team, he has collaborated with leading athletes including Lewis Hamilton, Harry Kane, Jude Bellingham, Son Heung-Min, and Isco. A BAFTA Connect member, he won Best New Irish Director at the 2025 Kinsale Shark Awards and was shortlisted for Best New Director at the Young Arrows. His debut short, Reavey Brothers (2022), sold out 20 screenings across the UK and Ireland, with a feature adaptation now in development.
